This month we are tackling the issue of Workforce Retention and Recruitment. This is a topic that we continue to hear from our clients and partners is one of the top issues that they are dealing with. We wanted to have a positive dialogue about the impact that we can have as leaders to transform the way we look at our Culture and Engagement into a competitive advantage and not just an issue for your business. The future of our organizations truly relies on our ability to understand how to use Culture to enhance retention and recruitment in a tight labor market and changing workforce values.

Doug Holmgren - Chief Information Officer – YA Engage


Doug leads Client Delivery, engineering, infrastructure and operations teams at YA.  He has a passion for his team and delivering superior solutions that exceed client’s expectations. 


Before joining YA, Doug spent ten years at Target in a variety of leadership roles. In his most recent role there, he was a Director in, where he was responsible for planning, developing and implementing the product strategy and overseeing the entire product development lifecycle to create seamless multi-channel experiences for their customers.  Prior to Target, Doug spent over fifteen years with US Bank and Wells Fargo in various leadership roles managing engineering, business analyst and project management teams. Doug has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Minnesota, Duluth.


When he’s not at YA, Doug enjoys spending time outside. He’ll be either on the golf course or the lake in the summer or out snowmobiling or skiing in the winter.

Aleesha Webb - President of Village Bank

Aleesha Webb currently is the President of Village Bank – a Twin Cities Community Bank. Spending her entire career in banking, starting as a teller and quickly rising through the ranks, Aleesha runs a successful and growing business. With 20 years of industry experience, she knows running a successful bank is more than focusing on the numbers. Aleesha is focused on the people behind the numbers – the clients. Her vision is to shape the future of community banking.
